Technical Data
Nano facade insulation is based on a modern coating technology whose properties are described through technical tests and defined material specifications. It combines a low layer thickness of approx. 1 mm with a targeted influence on heat transfer.
Material properties
The nano coating used is a water-based acrylic resin dispersion: UV-resistant and weatherproof, vapour-permeable (water vapour permeable), strongly adhesive on a wide range of substrates, and low-emission, suitable for both interior and exterior use. It permanently withstands weathering, UV radiation and chemical influences without losing colour or function.
Layer build-up
Primer (substrate-dependent), functional layer (nano coating), protective and sealing layer. The total layer thickness is approx. 1 mm.
Specifications
- Water vapour permeability
- Overall system vapour-permeable (V2)
- Water absorption
- very low (approx. 0.07 kg/m²·h⁰·⁵)
- Adhesive tensile strength
- ≥ 1.0 MPa
- Fire behaviour
- B1 – flame retardant
- Consumption
- approx. 1.0–1.2 litres per m²
- Curing
- approx. 24 hours per layer
CE marking
The coating has an EU-wide building authority approval based on the European Technical Assessment (ETA) – which goes beyond a purely German building authority approval.
Application
Applied by roller, brush or airless spray equipment, recoatable after a few hours. The technical data describes the material properties of the coating — the actual effect in the building also depends on wall build-up, application and use. An individual assessment is therefore essential.
